The Clare Coat is a chic cool-weather staple. Featuring raglan sleeves and an unstructured A-line silhouette, Clare is a great introduction to the joys of coat making.

View A hits at mid thigh, with a face-framing collar, princess sleeves, exposed asymmetrical zipper and welt pockets. View B has a more minimalist vibe; double breasted, it ends at the hip hip with inseam pockets, full length sleeves and a dramatic funnel collar.

Clare is available as an instant gratification PDF (with copyshop and print at home files), or as a beautifully printed pattern. See our guide to printing & assembling PDF files here. Both versions feature our meticulously written and easy to follow instructions, designed to give everyone beautiful results regardless of skill level.

Errata: The collar for View A was incorrectly mirrored on the printed pattern tissue; the notches are inaccurate, although the pattern piece shape is correct. All pattern booklets include a download link for an updated piece with the correct notches; you can also download it here
