Meet Morgan, slim boyfriend jeans designed for non-stretch & selvedge denim. Inspired by old school denim style but with a fresh, modern cut, Morgan Jeans are engineered to flatter.

Featuring a mid-rise, traditional five pocket construction,  contoured waistband, tapered leg and button fly, Morgan fits snugly through the hip but relaxes and conforms to your curves with a little wear (size up for a slouchier, more casual fit). Choose between a regular or cropped inseam, and add an optional leather waistband patch.

Love at first make!

I made a pair of jeans! The instructions comprehensively walked me through the process of making my first pair of jeans! I love how the instructions include how to make the pocket bags and inside waistband in a pretty fabric that shows on the inside. I am in the process of making a pair of jeans from one of the big pattern companies that don't include this detail and am bummed that this detail is missed in that pattern. I remember wearing Levi's 501 jeans eons ago when I was in high school and loved the button fly feature on them., so love that this feature is included on the Morgan Boyfriend Jeans. I will be making more Morgans in the future!

Beautiful Design: Great Instructions; but...

I sewed these up in a muslin, based on my actual waist and hip measurements. They were extremely tight, not only in the waist and hips, but also in the legs. In fact, they were so tight, I was unable to close the fly opening Not sure why that would be, since I cut every piece precisely. I’ve never encountered this issue before, and I’ve sewn many pants, in addition to many other pieces of clothing. I have yet to try the next size up., but when I do get around to it, the second pair will also be cut from muslin also. The sizing just seems to be very off for me, for whatever reason. The instructions, on the other hand, are very, very good, and I can tell that the finished jeans (when I finally get them to fit as I want them to), will look great, and feel great.

Hi Elizabeth. I'm sorry to hear this! Did you happen to use a print or PDF pattern? If PDF, I wonder if the print scaling was off because Morgan fits pretty close to size. They are on the slimmer fitting end of boyfriend jeans but you definitely should have been able to get them around your hips, waist and legs.

Morgan jeans

I’m so excited to be making my own jeans! The directions were so clear but the size was too big according to my measurements. I was happy to make my normal size. I’ve made 4 pairs and am wearing one right now!

Love this pattern. Bought the kit with fabric, zip, thread, etc. Everything went togther very well. Love the fabric (cone denim) and the pattern is great. I like both these and Ginger. Love the instructions. Very clear and easy to follow.
