Just what I was looking for

This pattern was just what I was looking for. I haven’t made the jacket yet, but can’t wait. Most likely will be late winter early spring when I will make for next year. Now have to look for the perfect fabric. Thanks for the design.

I found the directions incredibly difficult. I am not a beginner sewer. I never got past the muslin & after 4 days & ripping & adjusting, many times, I chucked the project.

Hi Bonnie. Did you try checking our sewalong? We have step by step photos of each stage of construction. Should help you finish your jacket if you got stuck anywhere. https://closetcasepatterns.com/kelly-anorak-sewalong/

It looks like a lovely pattern, beautifully presented and excellent detail and instructions.
I haven't made it yet but am glad to see that there is a separate lining pattern which I will purchase.

Just do it - you won't regret it!

I've only been sewing again for a year now, and most of that time I've been pining over the Kelly Anorak. I wasn't sure if my beginner skills were up to the task, but decided to take a chance on it in July 2018. I wish I had taken the leap of faith sooner! This pattern is incredible, and so is the finished garment. The instructions are perfectly detailed and clear without being too "hand-holdy", and the accompanying illustrations are even more helpful.
I am honestly so pleased with the Kelly, and fall weather can't get hear fast enough so I can show it off!!
