    Kelly Anorak

    Excellent pattern,easy to use kit.
I made the lined version with outer waxed canvas and inner linen/cotton blend.
Because of the extra bulk of the heavy canvas and thicker lining material I should have gone up a size (I made a 4)
It’s a little snug in the shoulders!
But that was my mistake! The pattern was easy to follow! And the hardware kit has good quality materials included!
    I’ll make this again!

    Great kit, very useful

Made the Kelly Coat and decided as I’m a novice I would buy the hardwear kit.
It was really useful and I’m glad I did. It finished off my coat very well.
Would recommend it for a first go when you’re not sure and want everything on hand
    Without too much effort sourcing.

    Great kit

It was so nice to get all of the hardware in one complete package. Trying to source items separately would have required multiple online purchases for me, as I do not have all of these items available locally. The materials were all very high quality and packaged well.

Excellent hardware, shame about the custom charge

The hardware kit was the best I have sent compared to the usual silver or brass hardware. Looks amazing on the aubergine British Millerain fabric I used for my Kelly Anorak with liberty lawn lining. The only downside was the custom import charge to the UK which was more than the cost of the hardware and postage. Hadn’t appreciate this when I ordered. However given the look of the hardware on my anorak I would definitely reorder another kit when I make another anorak.

    super useful, reasonable price

No complaints from me! It was great to have everything I needed in one place and to not have to source it. Could always use extra hardware, since I think I lost a rivet and ended up having to salvage one of my practice pieces. ;)

    Hard-to-source Hardware in One Package

I spent a lot of time trying to find each of the items in this kit for a little less elsewhere - it's definitely not worth the effort. Just buy this kit! Everything matches, and the kit includes things I didn't think about when I tried to source it myself.

Although practice hardware is included, if you've never installed a snap or grommet before, you might want to purchase some extras. I needed more practice than the kit provides (and my Kelly has the patches - erm, intentional design elements - to prove it). Anything not on your coat doesn't have to match, and this way you get to put all of the matching hardware on your finished garment.
