The Clare Coat is a chic cool-weather staple. Featuring raglan sleeves and an unstructured A-line silhouette, Clare is a great introduction to the joys of coat making.

View A hits at mid thigh, with a face-framing collar, princess sleeves, exposed asymmetrical zipper and welt pockets. View B has a more minimalist vibe; double breasted, it ends at the hip hip with inseam pockets, full length sleeves and a dramatic funnel collar.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL

This was my very first time sewing a coat....and the Clare coat was the best pattern for the experience. The directions were easy to follow...but I also liked having the sew-a-long online. Every time I wear it, I get soooo many compliments!

I absolutely love this pattern! I haven’t gotten around to finding just the right fabric yet but the pattern itself is great. Easy to follow and thorough enough. I’ll come back with pictures when I finally get it done !

Clare COAT

Nice pattern, sizes are good and mainos good instructions . Pattern paper is though very thin and it good be more better said in the booklet that patterns include seam allowances. Now I really had to find the information when my pieces didn't match at once.

Clare Coat

I made this coat in a rich green wool mix. The lining in a fabulous matching green silk like polyester, with a small amount of stretch. I also added a swish diver chain to the rear neck asa hanger.
The instructions were comprehensive and relatively easy to follow. The added drawings are always helpful.
The finished product was really well acknowledged on my Instagram account.
